Lightweight, portable and easy to install, this practical, cost-effective alternative to metal fume hoods is non-conductive, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof. Translucent polypropylene hood allows light to shine through into the work area. For added convenience and accessibility, the door is made of clear acrylic and may be set open at three positions from 10 to 21 in. (25 to 53 cm). Durable construction includes 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) thick polypropylene with heavier sections where needed. A full length 1/8 in. (3.2 mm) thick interior baffle directs airflow across the table surface as well as vertically. The stack has a 6 in. (152 mm) outside diameter with a damper. An exhaust system capable of drawing 500 cfm (free air) is recommended. Outer dimensions: 48 x 24 x 36 in.
