Tungsten Carbide has a density of 14.9g/cc. While very dense, this bead is not recommended for biopreps. It will leave your prep dirty.
Note: These beads impart a brown-gray color to homogenates. This inert, colloidal tungsten-carbide can often be removed by centrifugation or filtration.
