Labconco* Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump

Rotary Vane Direct Drive Vacuum Pumps provide a reliable vacuum source for a variety of laboratory products including FreeZone Freeze Dry Systems, Protector Controlled Atmosphere Glove Boxes and CentriVap Centrifugal Concentrators. These pumps are available with displacement capacities of 117 or 195 liters per minute (at 60 Hz).

Includes an on/off switch, inlet and outlet ports, mode selector, gas-ballast control and thermal overload device with automatic reset. The mode selector has two positions: high vacuum and high throughput. The gas ballast has three positions: closed, low flow and high flow. The pump is driven directly by a single phase electric motor which is totally enclosed and fan-cooled. Should the motor overheat, the thermal overload device switches off the pump. When the pump cools down, the motor automatically restarts. When the pump is switched off, an inlet valve seals the inlet and prevents back-streaming of air and oil into the vacuum system. The casing is cast aluminum. Models with a displacement of 117 L/min. include a retractable lifting handle. Models with a displacement of 195 L/min. include a lifting bracket for use with suitable lifting equipment. The pump is mounted on a base plate on rubber feet and includes power cord with plug.
