The self-calibrating, microprocesser-based system reduces variability in pipetting technique. The patented DC-motor based technology, using a unique solenoid brake mechanism with integrated optical encoder, provides unsurpassed displacement precision for multiple dispensing applications. Each SofTouch pipet is provided with a Certificate of Calibration stating accuracy and precision according to ISO 8655.
