Description

Ideal for applications such as DNA and RNA transfers, where nitrocellulose has been used in the past. Combines the binding characteristics of nitrocellulose with the strength of nylon. Maintains the same high signal and low backgrounds. The process of impregnating pure nitrocellulose polymer onto an inert web produces a very strong, dimensionally stable hybridization membrane. The inert web provides dimensional strength to prevent curling, cracking and tearing even after baking. Nucleic acid binding capacity is 100 µg/cm2.
