Labnet ENDURO* 15 cm Horizontal Gel Boxes

The ENDURO 15.10 and 15.15 offer a wide degree of versatility. The 15 x 10 cm gel tray is supplied with one 16-tooth and one 20-tooth comb, the 15 x 15 cm gel box includes one 16-tooth, one 28-tooth, and one 20-tooth comb. A wide range of accessories are available separately. Maximizing comb and tray options allow up to 210 samples to be resolved per gel. The 15 cm total run length allows restriction fragments or other close MW sample bands to be easily separated and identified. Speed loading is accomplished using 10, 14, 16, 18, 28 or 30 sample multichannel pipette compatible combs. These units provide high resolution separation of nucleic acid fragments 100bp to 20 kbp and are excellent for screening of PCR samples or routine DNA fragment analysis.

The ENDURO gel tanks are molded for leak-proof performance and a long service life. The corrosion resistant platinum electrodes are located in cassettes to protect them during cleaning and provide for easy replacement. The lids fit on the gel boxes in only one direction. A drip ring on the lid recycles condensed buffer and prevents it from dripping directly onto the gel.

Slots on the sides of the gel trays hold the combs in place. The two piece combs are designed so that the teeth can be raised or lowered to vary the depth of the well within the gel. Gel trays are UV transparent.

The power leads for the ENDURO system are attached to the gel box lid. The connection with the electrodes is made only when the lid is properly in place. Removal of the lid removes power from the system. Side tabs and pressure pads make lid removal easy and prevent sloshing of buffer.
