Bel-Art Scienceware* Electrophoresis Fixing Trays

These fixing trays are useful in electrophoresis gel destaining. Virtually unbreakable, heavy polyethylene trays are 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) thick with a top stiffening flange and five ribs in the bottom to raise the gel and plates. Extraction of the plates is facilitated by 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) square ridges running lengthwise that hold the plate off the tray. There is a drain stopcock in the side with 6 ft (1.8 meters) of Vikem vinyl tubing with a 1/2 in. ( 13 mm) ID.
