PerkinElmer* PGX-H₂ Hydrogen Generators

The PerkinElmer series of Hydrogen generators are the alternative to gas cylinders in your laboratory. Purities up to 99.99999% are available. The generators offer silent operation and require only demineralized or distilled water to produce hydrogen at pressures up to 11 bar (160 psi). No caustic solutions are used. No cell maintenance is required.
Hydrogen generators are ideal for providing GC carrier gas, fuel gas for GC-FIDs, and reaction gas for HALL detectors. Hydrogen as carrier gas offers important advantages over helium and nitrogen in terms of speed of analysis, sensitivity, resolution and cost. Other applications include total hydrocarbon analyzers, sulfur analyzers and air pollution monitors.
A standard series and an advanced series are available. The advanced series has an automatic drying system that offers the advantage of completely eliminating routine maintenance. This is a unique feature.
