Ahlstrom Thick Chromatography, Electrophoresis, and Blotting Papers, Grade 320

Ahlstrom Grade 320: 2.48 mm Thickness; 240 mm /30 min. Absorption Speed. This super thick grade is one of the thickest papers on the market. Ahlstrom 320 offers extremely high flow and is recommended both for electrophoresis of large molecules and as a blotter to complete the blotting sandwich in gel transfer applications. Ahlstrom 320 provides a smooth and uniform texture assuring continuous contact of buffer from the chamber through the gel and transfer membrane to the opposite pole or weight. Thick papers are 100% cotton grades that are used in chromatography techniques where solutes are heavily loaded. Thick papers are ideal grades for electrophoresis techniques.
