National Scientific* Headspace Vials

Manufactured to provide uniform glass thickness which insures even heat distribution for consistent sampling reliability. All headspace vials meet or exceed OEM instrument manufacturers specifications. Vials are available in 6 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml and 27 ml versions. Use Tin plate seals with magnetic pick autosamplers. Pressure release seals are designed to open when internal pressures exceed 3.0 +/-0.5 bar, protecting equipment during analysis of highly volatile samples.

• Type 1 borosilicate glass
• Clear glass vials with 20 mm crimp seal finish are designed to fit most headspace autosamplers
• Flat bottom vials maximize heating efficiency when used with bottom
• Round bottom vials are more easily handled by robotic arms that lift the vial from the tray
• Round bottom vials distribute the internal pressure created at high temperatures across the glass surface
• Beveled edge finish features a sturdy rim that presses into the septum for a more effective seal

Compatibility:
• Flat bottom vials feature a longer neck for fit with Carlo Erba and Agilent units
• Round bottom vials are designed for Perkin-Elmer, Tekmar and Varian units
