Forceps are a useful tool for handling samples that should not be touched or are too small to handle manually. For objects that are fragile or scratch easily, plastic forceps would be the ideal choice. These forceps are made of polyoxymethylene (POM) or polymethylpentene (PMP), with either pointed or rounded ends.
