BD* CultureSwab* Collection & Transport Swabs

BD CultureSwab Collection Transport Systems are designed for the collection and transport of aerobes. Available with Liquid Stuart or Liquid Amies media in several swab and shaft configurations, BD CutureSwabs are designed to meet a wide range of transport needs. BD CultureSwab is also available with Cary-Blair medium for use in transportation of fecal specimens.

System consist of tube, transport medium, and swab with integral cap. Tubes are made of unbreakable polypropylene and include a pre-attached data label and a temper-evident seal.
Swabs are rayon and are designed with an extra long shaft. Each swab package is flushed with nitrogen gas to assure freshness of the medium throughout the product shelf life.
