Corning® PYREX® Heavy Duty Conical Centrifuge Tubes

These heavy duty 10 mL PYREX conical centrifuge tubes are made with increased wall thickness for greater mechanical strength. In order to conform to outside diameter and overall length limitations imposed by centrifuge rotors and supports, it has been necessary to reduce the capacity of these heavy duty tubes.

Graduated with durable white enamel, the 10 mL tube has 0.1 mL graduations upward from the tip. The 40 mL tube is graduated in 0.5 mL division up to 10 mL, and in 1 mL divisions from 10 to 40 mL.

The phenolic threaded screw cap is fabricated of a resin which is specially formulated to resist the effects of temperature and steam. For 10 mL tube replacement caps, see Spectrum Cat. No. 988-29146. For 40 mL tube replacement caps, see 988-29152.
