A unique aerosol designed to rapidly cool any material. The fastest coolant available. Excellent for cooling liquid, semi-solid, and solid samples. Use for ultra-rapid freezing of fresh tissue, cooling of liquids to force precipitates prior to filtration, and chilling of field samples.

During cryostat sectioning, Cyto-Freeze™ flash freezes tissues instantly. It cools to -60°F (-50°C) in three seconds. To cut sections, simply mount tissue directly on a microtome holder, spray, and section. Saves time and eliminates water crystals caused by slower freezing methods. The supplied five-inch polyethylene snorkel pinpoints freezing power exactly where needed. A trigger-actuator valve provides controlled delivery. Contains an EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) designated substitute for ozone-depleting HFCs and CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons).

The pure formulation and unique valve provide superior chilling properties. 100% triple filtered pure gas chills faster, uses less refrigerant, and maintains lower temperatures than products that use inexpensive filler material. Cheaper sprays use non-filtered material, which reduces cooling ability, adds contaminants, and injects moisture-containing crystalline artifacts. Can contains eleven ounces of non-corrosive, non-flammable, odorless, and completely volatile gas.
