EMD* Silica RP-18 F_254s Acid Stable Fluorescent Indicator Glass PLC Plates

PLC plates are for applications involving higher sample quantities. They are based on the same proven EMD Millipore silica-binder technology as analytical TLC plates, however they allow loads of up to gram amounts. Samples are typically applied as a band across the whole width of the plate, and substances are detected almost exclusively by UV detection. The substances can be isolated by extraction after the spot has been scraped from the layer. PLC plates are perfectly suited for cleaning up synthetic reaction mixtures, natural products, plant extracts and biotech products.
