Scientific Industries* Disruptor Beads* for Disruptor Genie* - Each

Disruptor Beads™, made from spherical lead free soda lime glass, are designed for use with the Disruptor Genie™ or TurboMix™ attachment (used with Vortex-Genie 2 or Vortex-Genie 2T) for optimum disruption of bacteria, yeast, fungi and other cells. Two sizes are available, 0.1 mm (bacteria), 0.5 mm (yeast, fungi and other sample types).

Disruptor Genie and Disruptor Beads applications:
• Disruption of bacterial cultures for nucleic acid isolation and downstream processing
• Grinding plant tissue for DNA extractions
• Preparation of cell lysates from yeast or fungi
• Rapid resuspension of pellets
