Description

Affinity matrix that is red colored, immobilized metal-ion affinity chromatography (IMAC) designed for use in small scale affinity capture (molecular pull-down) experiments. Red IMAC gel consists of quadridentrate chelate bound with nickel and covalently attached to Red beaded 6% agarose (Separopore 6B). View-IP™ His-tag Nickel Red-Separopore 6B-CL is convenient for small-scale affinity capture of fusion proteins with histidine containing tags and greatly reduces the risk of pellet loss. Comparable performance to non-colored affinity gels, but allows the user to easily differentiate pellet from supernatant. This results in greater consistency and more accurate data due to less sample losses.
