Description
Dye affinity chromatography is a protein purification procedure based on the high affinity of immobilized dyes for the binding sites on many proteins. It is a rapid, inexpensive, and versatile method that is applicable to the purification of crude cellular extracts.
Reactive Yellow 3-Separopore 4B-CL is used in affinity chromatography, protein chromatography and dye resins. Reactive Yellow 3-Separopore 4B-CL has been used in immunohistochemical localization studies to show where tyramine N-(hydroxycinnamoyl)transferase (THT) polypeptides occur in opium poppy. Reactive Yellow-Separopore 4B-CL has also been used to purify human cholesteryl ester transfer protein.
