Spectrum® MCE Syringe Filters

Mixed Cellulose Esters (MCE) syringe filters are hydrophilic and are recommended for all filtrations in aqueous or polar media and bacteria filtration. They are ideal when maximum protein recovery in filtrate is crucial. These filters are also used for filtration and inspection of gas, oil and alcohol particulate and bacteria. Combined with a glass microfiber prefilter, they become ideal for tissue culture media and sensitive biological samples. Sample filtration prefilter increases yield.

• Clearly inscribed with the filter media type on barrel

• Individually blistered packed for Sterile filters or polybagged for non-sterile filters
• Unique with a concentric funnel shaped barrel to increase volume and decrease back pressure
