Bel-Art Scienceware* Spinbar* Restrainer

Easily retrieve magnetic stirring bars from vessels with the handheld Spinbar Restrainer. Prevents magnetic stirring bars from heading down lab drains and eliminates the splashing hazard when pouring solutions out of mixing containers. Fabricated with simple-to-clean durable polystyrene, the restrainer fits ergonomically in one hand and when placed alongside the outer wall of a mixing vessel, it draws in and secures the stirring bar. After the vessel is drained, the confined stirring bar is securely retrieved from the vacant container, without contaminating the solution. The body is molded of easy to clean high impact polystyrene. It houses a strong magnet that restrains magnetic stirring bars up to 80 mm (3 in.) long.
