Baird Parker AgarCommonly used in the detection and enumeration of coagulase-positive staphylococci in food samples. Contains potassium tellurite and lithium which supresses the growth of most bacteria but allows the growth of staphylococcus aureus.

• Dehydrated Appearance: light tan, homogeneous powder
• Prepared Appearance: yellow agar
• Soluble in boiling water
